Well, it’s just before 9.00am on this here long weekend. That means that it’s back to work tomorrow, and that this morning was my last chance for a sleep in aaaaand of course I forgot to turn my alarm off.
Oh well, it meant I could make a dent in my new book. I finished Caliban’s War while we were away camping and have now started on the long and weirdly named The 120 Days of Sodom, or the School of Libertinism by Marquis de Sade. It was written in 1785, and I have to say I’m only a few pages into the introduction and already I am reading it with wide open eyes, and I can understand why it was scandalous when it finally got put into print in 1904!
We have a trip to Bunnings organised for later and then the only other plan we have for today is to chill out and get our minds back to zero before heading back to work tomorrow.
